Noise from the road makes for a restless night!!! Outdated furnishings create a less inviting atmosphere!!! Inadequate parking during peak times leads to frustrating experiences!!!

Totally recommend for a mini-vacation

Lovely room, excellent breakfast, with a good shower offering a digital temperature display, making my stay very comfortable.

Heating issues plagued the stay, requiring three duvets just to stay warm in the room. Noise from the water pipes interrupted sleep multiple times during the night, sounding like a pneumatic drill, and breakfast was also devoid of heat on the first morning, indicating possible cost-saving measures with heating. TV reception was poor due to the weather, making it difficult to enjoy casual downtime. The annex rooms felt outdated and could benefit from a refurbishment, which might improve the overall experience.

Perfect stopover for families

Had a nice stay for one night! The rooms were comfy and the food at the restaurant was tasty. Staff were really friendly and helped us out when we needed a taxi. Sadly, the bar closed early, which was a bummer. a solid place for a family stop.

great access to parks and historic sites for weekend explorers

I truly appreciated the easy access to stunning parks like Ninesprings Country Park, perfect for a refreshing morning stroll, along with the nearby Montacute House that offers rich history and beautiful grounds to explore, making my stay incredibly enjoyable.

We had a fantastic time! The food was absolutely incredible, especially the lamb stew! Plus, the jacuzzi bath in our room was the cherry on top. Can't recommend it enough!

Great find for a quick stop!

I was on a long road trip and stumbled upon this lovely spot. The family who runs it are super friendly and welcoming. My dog loved the big backyard with the lake. Breakfast was included, and it was delish! Only thing was the bathroom needed a bit of an update. a cozy stay.

I particularly appreciated the friendly staff. their helpfulness added a personal touch. Our room was tidy and had great heating, crucial for the chilly nights. The breakfast options were impressive, with fresh local produce and plenty of choices. the evening meal quality varied significantly. I loved the fish and chips, but the lasagne I had was disappointing. I also noticed the need for some refurbishments in the rooms, as they felt somewhat outdated. Some areas showed signs of neglect that detracted from the experience. There were also noise disturbances from the main road, which made it hard to sleep at times. Parking could be tricky during busy hours, too. Despite these drawbacks, the overall vibe was warm and inviting.

Absolutely loved the beautiful view over the fishing lake! The dinner was delicious, and breakfast had a lovely variety. Only downside was a bit of dirt in the room. 😊
